Questions

No. Deltalytix is a trading dashboard and journal—not a brokerage. You place and execute trades on your broker's platform as usual.

After trading, you import or sync your trade data into Deltalytix to track performance, review statistics, and refine your strategy over time.

Protecting your data is a core priority. We do not sell your trading data or use it for advertising.

Deltalytix uses industry-standard security practices—including encrypted connections and secure authentication—to keep your account and trade history safe.

Deltalytix connects to your brokers through dedicated sync services for Rithmic, Tradovate, and the Thor copier. Each integration works a little differently.

Rithmic does not support OAuth. For security, we never store your credentials on our servers—they stay on your computer and are accessed by the Deltalytix sync engine only while you're connected. Tradovate supports OAuth, so Deltalytix can request read-only access and back up your trades daily, even if you haven't logged in recently.

With Thor, your trading data is stored on Thor's servers. You choose when to upload that data to Deltalytix using their software.

Deltalytix runs as a web app, so updates roll out automatically—there's nothing to download or install.

Refresh your browser or open a new tab to use the latest version. You never need to run manual updates.

Yes. Deltalytix ships a local / self-hosted dashboard mode for developers and agents. It needs some coding familiarity—Bun, Docker, and a terminal—but the repo is agent-ready: AGENTS.md and SELF_HOSTING.md spell out the full bootstrap.

Local mode supports CSV and PDF imports with seeded demo data. Live broker sync (Rithmic, Tradovate, Thor) stays on the cloud app. Paste the prompt below into Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude to have an agent set it up for you.

Agent setup prompt

Set up Deltalytix locally for dashboard development (self-host / local dashboard mode).

1. Clone https://github.com/hugodemenez/deltalytix (skip if the repo is already checked out).
2. Read AGENTS.md and SELF_HOSTING.md at the repo root and follow them.
3. From the repo root, run:
   bash scripts/self-host-quickstart.sh
   bash scripts/dev.sh
4. Open http://localhost:3000/dashboard
5. Verify the health checks from AGENTS.md (authenticated dashboard headers and /authentication → /dashboard redirect).

Requirements: Bun, Docker (Postgres). Local mode supports CSV/PDF import with seeded demo data; live broker sync services remain cloud-only.
Use Bun for install/dev/build. Open PRs against the beta branch.

Trading in futures and forex markets involves significant risks and is not suitable for all investors. An investor could potentially lose all or a portion of their initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one's financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading, and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
