Jump to a month or year, and filter news from one chip

The calendar widget on the dashboard no longer uses a static August 2026 title. In daily view, Month and Year chips sit in the header, with prev/next around the month. Weekly view keeps a Year chip; the chevrons step years.

Calendar header with August and 2026 chips, monthly total, and a News chip

Open News (newspaper icon; icon-only on a narrow screen) for country search and importance — Low, Medium, High. The menu reuses Filter by Country, All Countries, and No countries found. A badge on the chip shows how many countries you selected. The year list runs from 2000 through the current year plus two; a year you are already on outside that range still appears. Open month and year lists stay dark text on white in both themes, so Edge dark mode no longer paints a blank overlay. This is a follow-up to events already on the calendar, not a new events feed.

On the dashboard in Widgets, use Month / Year, then open News and pick a country or importance.

Trading in futures and forex markets involves significant risks and is not suitable for all investors. An investor could potentially lose all or a portion of their initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one's financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading, and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
